How can I schedule an appointment?
No appointment is required for X-ray service, but appointment is required for all other services at Ontario Imaging Diagnostics – VPM. Booking an appointment call us at 416-759-3462, or click on the “Book Online Appointment” link at the top of this page. Our friendly staff will be happy to assist you in scheduling your ultrasound appointment at a time that is convenient for you.
Do you accept walk-ins for Ultrasound?
For ultrasound you need to book an appointment
Do you accept walk-ins for X-rays?
X-rays are by Walk In and are done on first come first serve basis. In case of busy days for X-rays we reserve right to stop taking more X-ray patients earlier than our normal closing time.
Do you accept walk-ins for BMD?
For BMD you need to book an appointment.
Do you accept walk-ins for Mammogram?
For Mammogram you will need to book an appointment.
What is the typical duration of appointments?
Most appointments last between 15 to 30 minutes.
Do I need a requisition/referral to Ontario imaging diagnostic ?
Yes, you will need a requisition/referral signed by your physician or midwife.
Do you accept requisitions from other clinics?
Absolutely, we accept all signed and completed requisitions from your physician or midwife. Please ensure you bring a valid health card (OHIP).
Do you cater to non-OHIP patients?
Yes, we do. Kindly contact us for pricing details. We accept cash payments only.
How quickly can I schedule an appointment at Ontario Imaging diagnostics?
We offer same-day appointments. Some of our centers are open all 6 days in a week which gives you flexibility to book an appointment for your tests at your convenience.
When can I expect my results to be sent to my family doctor?
For general, non-urgent cases, reports are faxed within 2-3 business days. In urgent or emergency cases, a verbal report will be provided.
Do you provide printouts for pregnancy scans?
Yes, we do provide print-outs.
Can my friend or family member accompany me in the examination room during my test?
Unfortunately, only patients are allowed in the exam room. However, if assistance or translation is required, family members are encouraged to remain in the room with the patient.
Can my husband accompany me for my pregnancy scan?
Your husband will need to wait until the scan is completed. However, he will be called in for a brief ‘show-and-tell’ in the last 5 minutes of the exam.
Can I receive my results immediately from the Technologist?
Technologists are not authorized to provide results. You will need to follow up with your referring doctor for your results.
